I founded Paperboat Tech Solutions in 2006. For nearly two decades, we’ve built IT infrastructure, software systems, and digital solutions for over 700 businesses across India. Healthcare was always in the mix — but it wasn’t until around 2020 that I started to see something that genuinely bothered me.
Doctors with extraordinary clinical skills — specialists who had dedicated 15–20 years to mastering their craft — were losing patients to competitors who were simply better at marketing. A joint replacement surgeon with 3,000 successful surgeries behind him was being outranked on Google by a clinic that had opened 18 months ago and spent money on ads.
The problem wasn’t clinical quality. It was systemic. No follow-up automation. No digital presence. No accountability for marketing spend. Clinics were handing ₹50,000–₹1,00,000 a month to generic agencies and getting back reports showing impressions and clicks — while their actual patient count stayed flat.
I built ClinicScaleOS to fix this. Not as another marketing agency — as an operating system. One that uses the same AI infrastructure and digital systems that we’ve deployed for 700+ businesses, applied specifically to the specialist clinic context. The AI voice agent. The integrated dashboard. The accountability framework. All of it built on 18 years of knowing what actually works — and what’s just a deliverable.
Started as an IT services company in Ahmedabad. First clients in manufacturing, retail, and professional services. Learned that technology only matters when it produces measurable outcomes — not just infrastructure.
Built a patient management system for a multi-specialty clinic in Ahmedabad. First exposure to how clinics run operationally — and the first time I noticed how different healthcare marketing needs to be from every other sector.
Expanded Paperboat's services to include digital marketing. Built teams for SEO, Google Ads, and social media. Started noticing that healthcare clients had fundamentally different conversion challenges than other sectors.
Deployed an AI-powered inquiry management system for an IVF clinic. Lead-to-appointment rate doubled in 60 days. This was the proof of concept that informed ClinicScaleOS.
After 2 years of piloting, refining, and proving the system across multiple specialist clinics, formally launched ClinicScaleOS as a dedicated product built on the Paperboat Tech infrastructure.
